Tonight’s NCAA Final would have been exciting enough for me considering that I’d win first place in my pool with a Kentucky win and third place if Kansas wins.
So when I opened my mailbox this afternoon and saw we received tickets for our 2012 Concert Series it was like Christmas in July April.
I haven’t seen Nikki Sixx and the rest of the Crüe since back in 1987 and I’m so excited.
At first Tammy wasn’t as thrilled, until I cleared things up for her.
Tammy: What do I care? Tommy Lee isn’t with them.
Me: Yes he is.
Tammy: He is?
Me: Yeah. It’s the original band. They’ve been back together for a while (since 2004).
Tammy: Oh really? Then yeah, I’m excited.
Hmmmm…. I don’t think she’s as excited for the same reasons that I am.
love the koozie
Love the dog.
Another big tour completely skipping the Mid-South. I’m bummed, again. They go from Birmingham straight over to Texas. No Jackson, MS, no Memphis, no Little Rock. I saw the Crue play in Little Rock to a sold out crowd in 2006. All we get is country acts, which are fine, but I don’t understand why they all skip this area completely.
I did see Nikki Sixx posted the question “Should we or shouldn’t we: Add more CRUE-KISS tour dates..?” so it sounds like they might make another loop that could include the Mid-South.
I guess it really depends on who is running the event planning in the area. Whoever was running the show in Tupelo was able to get big acts but that was a long time ago. Now the biggest thing whatever the Tupelo coliseum is called now gets is the circus.
