Turns out I’m not the only one who is tired of being held hostage by the prime time Olympic coverage every night.
We haven’t been able to watch the programs we’ve got recorded on our DVR because of the way NBC jerks us around with their coverage. They tease with the “good” stuff then put it off until nearly 10 each night.
But I have to admit that I was a little surprised when I realized Savannah was tired of The Games too.
“We’re watching this now Daddy.” I guess Savannah’s a little burned out with the Olympic coverage as well.
Sleeping peacefully or daring me to try to take the remote?

Oh, Savannah. A dog after my own heart! We suspended our DirectTV over the summer and it’s been liberating! I’m not to anxious to have our service turned back on, but my boys insist we have to have more sports channels this fall. 🙂 It won’t take long before I’m addicted to Swamp People again.
Oh man, I don’t think we could function if we dropped Dish Network. haha… Although having it off during the summer wouldn’t be the worst thing. But there’s NO way we could not have it during the fall. There would be trouble if Tammy wouldn’t get to see Peyton Manning. BIG TROUBLE…

Savannah’s so good. Wonderbutt just eats remotes. We have the teeth marks on them to prove it.
