Savannah’s Ready to be My Wingman

At some point in life everyone has either had or been someone’s wingman.

Fortunately for me Savannah was more than willing to step in and be my “wingman” last Thursday night during the Chicago Bears-Green Bay Packers game.

I stopped by Buffalo Wild Wings before the game and picked up enough wings to feed six people even though it there were only going to be two (Tammy and me) eating them.

I made myself a plateful of wings and settled in my spot on the couch to watch the game.

This is what MY plate looked like. Tammy’s plate wouldn’t fit in the picture.

I was making my way through my assortment of wings when I noticed that a pair of eyes staring down the collection of bones on my TV tray.

Hey Daddy… What you gonna do with those? You gonna eat ’em? Cause I will if you don’t.

I tried to ignore her but she hung in there for quite a while, almost falling asleep while she waited for me to… wait for it… throw her a bone.

I’m not going anywhere Daddy…

Please tell me you threw hew a few! Look at that face. How can you say no?

  2. She’s being so good! No way Wonderbutt would have his nose that close and not steal one!

  3. While reading this post all I could hear in my head was the snort my doggie-nephew old Konrad used to do every Sunday during football season.
